3 pizza bases 1 ½ cups of warm water 2 teaspoons of dried yeast pinch of caster sugar 4 cups of plain flour 1 teaspoon salt ¼ cup of olive oil plus extra for brushing

6 pizza bases 3 cups of warm water 4 teaspoons of dried yeast pinch of caster sugar 8 cups of plain flour 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 cup of olive oil plus extra for brushing

2 pizza bases 1 cup of warm water 1 ⅓ teaspoon of yeast pinch of caster sugar 2 ⅔ cup of plain flour ½ teaspoon of salt ¼ cup olive oil

1. Combine the water, yeast and sugar in a small bowl. Set aside for 5 minutes or until foamy. Combine the flour and salt in a large bowl and make a well in the center. Add the yeast mixture and oil. Use a round-bladed knife in a cutting motion to mix until the mixture is combined. Use your hands to bring the dough together in the bowl.
2. Brush a bowl lightly with oil. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place in the prepared bowl and turn to coat in oil. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside in a warm, draught-free place to rise for 30 minutes or until dough doubles in size

Expt: Teabag Rocket

• Aim: To find out if all teabag will fly like a rocket

• Material: different Types of the tea bag , lighter scissors bowl

• Method: Empty the tea bag and shape the tea bag upright and light top with a lighter observe what happens.

• Hypothesis:

I think that some of the tea bag will fly

we conclude that the four types of tea bags bell ,hayley ,dilmah and healtheries shawed good result . all of these teabag flew

The flying beaver brothers and the fishy business is about beavers that are brothers and their names are Bub and Ace. Than Ace and Bub went to climb a tree and then Ace said how long has that volcano been there then Bub wanted to check it out so they did then they made a kite and then they flow away.

My favorite part was when they flow away to see the volcano and my favorite character is the two beavers because they're so funny

Rose is funny ,smart and nice, she is 6 years old. She is with her uncle and her uncle love’s reading she had a little problem about school.  So her uncle helps her on her spelling she listen to her uncle every time.

It’s a sunny day at the beach I am walking around when I see two boys building a sandcastle . One of the boys has a bucket and one shovel .They are wearing swimming togs . In the beach its breezy and the sea looks beautiful .

When they are building their sandcastle they are happy . There are seagulls walking on the beach . The sand is so hot like a frying flame sand.

My father and I were  playing soccer but we got bored and had a chat on the bench. I could hear birds tweeting in the bushes and the fresh air blowing on my face.

Me and my dad were  talking about soccer because I was going to have a game soon and I was so scared. I am  training to be good at soccer. My dad was smiling at me and he was proud .I am wearing a blue T-shirt

Splash!Splash! I see a girl jumping into the water. She’s wearing a safety jumper. I can  see she’s holding her nose to get more energy. I thought that she will drown. She’s so happy because she enjoys it when she jumps she looked worried because she was all by herself. She jumped on a worfe she is so brave.

My teacher

I am walking down the road to go school. It’s my first day so I am very scared. I see a guy wearing a red and black jumper with white highlights. He is smiling at me. I know he is my teacher. I am wearing black boots and winter clothes. It is a cold, windy winters day. My teacher and I are talking about our holiday. I could see tall trees and we are walking on the concrete.

After their Nana’s funeral, Sister Emma gets the most perfect white sweet peas from nana's garden she puts it on top of her coffin then mum added some of her precious papery shells.

• Then he stepped back, took the spade then someone held out to him and carefully dropped a spadeful of earth onto all those delicate things. Luke didn’t  seem to want to do anything, he just stood there beside his dad. Then Luke heard something It made him  forget where he was then he heard something again as if it was a bellbird then grandad turned around and said Nana will be happy here he said.Then they all walked out of the graveyard but he walked  behind everyone else. He thought that his Nana was not happy here but he didn’t say out loud.

• At Nana and grandad’s house all the people that were in the funeral was there. In their house there were eating and drinking and telling stories about Nana’s long life but he wanted to go out next to Nana's garden his mum was looking behind the window. Then his mum gave him a chocolate biscuit he took one bite. Yuck!Luke said it tasted like sweet taste mixed with his salty tears.He really Loves Cheeky magpie that was his favorite food but now one knows what the ingredients are.
• Later that day when most people had gone Grandad , dad , mum and Emma went back to the graveyard, Luke put a lot flowers because there was no flowers there so he put some more. Luke said Nana will like the flowers.Then the next day came.

2 boys jumping off a bridge

             Two boys jumping off

When I am walking by I see two people that are on a bridge one boy jumps. Will the other boy standing up on the bridge jump too? I think he’s scared because he thinks it is deep when  the other boy had fun and jumped on the water.

I could see the cars. It looks like they are having a race. One of the boys are thinking that this is a bad idea. Both of those kids are feeling ok.

One boy is getting ready to jump off when the other one is in the air already because he’s brave and not scared to jump.I wonder if they were scared to jump off that bridge.

Stan stinky is a rat that dreams of surfing.  He doesn't believe that his dad has a boat and that he is the captain of the boat. His dad has a friend whose name is Roachy who is a cockroach.

My favorite character is Stan Stinky because he is funny and cool . My favorite part is when he went with his father in a boat. I liked it when Stan Stinky looked at it He was scared to ride the boat but he had to go on. Stan Stinky was still scared when he walked closer to the boat.

I recommend this book to children ages 7-9.

Nanny’s tokotoko

 Nanny is reading Tania a story. When it finished nanny gave her a hongi and said sweet dream’s. Tania laid in the dark wondering. Tomorrow is my birthday. Nanny woke Tania early in the morning, the sun was shining at her. They drove to the bush . They stopped in a far place with big and tall trees. Tania’s nanny told her about her tokotoko. She had a great , great , great , great , grandfather who craved the tokotoko.So they went to a river and then Nanny gave her a necklace it was a special necklace because it was passed through all of the girls in their family.

cock-a-doodle-doo is a cool book because it’s about a cat that’s called mossop that’s in a old farm the cat like’s to sleep and not much else so when farmer rafferty tells him to catch twenty six mice by sunset all the animal’s have to pull together to give mossop one last chance.

My favorite character is the dog because his fast and my favorite part is when they tried to found twenty six mice.

I think this book should be 8 and down because i  think that little children will laugh

Sr.Elizabeth

Sr.Elizabeth was a  teacher in C.T.K school 60 years ago.

In the chapel, she told us about how she came and worked as a teacher in Christ The King School. She started teaching since 1954.  She taught in room 1, 2 and 3, then you could tell that there were only 3 classrooms at that time .

Sr. Elizabeth was the  very first principal in our school too, I bet she was the nicest principal! Sr Elizabeth was telling us about when she was teaching, the school wasn't finished yet. So there was only one classroom where she taught in for the rest of the day.  It was difficult at that time because the sisters lived quite far from the school.  One good person picked the sisters up every morning to go to school. They sometimes took the bus to school. Sometimes they were late for school and the children waited for them.

I hope I see her again.
