Sr.Elizabeth

Sr.Elizabeth was a  teacher in C.T.K school 60 years ago.

In the chapel, she told us about how she came and worked as a teacher in Christ The King School. She started teaching since 1954.  She taught in room 1, 2 and 3, then you could tell that there were only 3 classrooms at that time .

Sr. Elizabeth was the  very first principal in our school too, I bet she was the nicest principal! Sr Elizabeth was telling us about when she was teaching, the school wasn't finished yet. So there was only one classroom where she taught in for the rest of the day.  It was difficult at that time because the sisters lived quite far from the school.  One good person picked the sisters up every morning to go to school. They sometimes took the bus to school. Sometimes they were late for school and the children waited for them.

I hope I see her again.
