Tonga bananas

In Tonga there is a boy name tun with an enormous clumps of bananas. Banana plants need rain , warm temperature and sunshine. Banana grows from little suckers.

Tonga banana plants has no woody trunks but it grows grow in clumps. In a week they grow green shiny new leaves. It looked like a bell shaped flower bud. It’s waxy leaves are called bracts. It sometimes have purple pink flowers, in a few weeks it turn into tiny green bananas hands.

Brats are called fingers and they stretch and turn upwards.When the banana turns from dark green to light green, it is ripening. It is ready to be picked. When its ripe it turns  to yellow. Ant , bats ,rats will eat the bananas.
